A city on the river

A compact center, and everything close by

Da Nang sits on the Han River, with the sea on one side and mountains on the other. Since July 1, 2025, the city has merged with Quang Nam and dropped the district level; the downtown area on the west bank of the Han River is still where the bridges, streets, markets and old churches cluster.

Nhà An Da Nang is in the heart of downtown, just a few minutes' walk from the Han River. The street number will be announced later, so distances on this page are estimates.

  • The Han riverbank, Dragon Bridge, Han Market and the Rooster Church are all walkable
  • My Khe, the Marble Mountains and Son Tra are anywhere from a few kilometers to about 10 km from downtown
