Why this page exists

What goes into your cup and onto your plate, you have a right to know

A good meal should first put the person eating it at ease. That's why Nhà An has written down its principles on ingredients, preparation and how we label what's in each dish, so you can read them before choosing.

Nhà An is in its Coming Soon phase, so these are the standards our team has set for all 5 branches when they open. We have not announced any certifications and will not use a certification label until we hold one.

Six promises

What Nhà An always keeps to

Traceable ingredients

Bao Loc oolong, Tan Cuong green tea, West Lake (Ho Tay) lotus rice, seasonal fruit. Nhà An works directly with farming households so we know exactly what goes into our food and drinks.

100% vegetarian dishes

Every dish we serve is vegetarian. Vegan dishes, meaning no eggs and no dairy, are marked separately at the counter so they're easy to spot.

Vegetable broth, no MSG

Our broth is simmered from vegetables. Nhà An uses no MSG, so the sweetness comes from the ingredients themselves.

Tea concentrate brewed fresh every 4 hours

After each 4-hour cycle, the old tea concentrate is replaced with a fresh batch, so every cup tastes as if just brewed.

Baked fresh daily

The oven is lit from 5 a.m., and our pastries are made with wheat flour and cultured butter.

We listen to feedback

If a dish isn't quite right, an ingredient isn't clear, or service falls short, tell us. Nhà An will read and respond to your feedback.

Our general process

From ingredient to your hands

This is the general process Nhà An aims for at every branch, and we'll keep refining it once we're up and running.

  1. Choosing and receiving ingredients

Every batch is checked for color, smell and expiry date before it goes into storage.

  2. Prepping and storing

Vegetables, tofu, milk and flour are stored properly, kept apart by group and labeled with the date received.

  3. Making small batches

Tea roasted in small batches, tea concentrate brewed fresh, pastries baked from early morning, silken tofu made every morning.

  4. Keeping the counter and kitchen clean

Staff wash their hands before each shift and when switching tasks, and counters and tools are cleaned every shift.

  5. Clear labeling

Allergens and vegan dishes are marked so you know what's in your food before you order.
