Choose Your Seat by the Work You Do: 4 Spaces at Nhà An

Writing a report, meeting a team, reading, or catching up with friends all call for very different seats. Here is how to choose among Nhà An's four zones for common situations.

A spacious café with large indoor plants, wooden tables and chairs, a drink bar in the back and a few people working on laptops

Ever carried your laptop to a café, sat in the wrong noisy spot and lost half the session just getting your focus back? Or the opposite: met friends in a corner so quiet that every sentence felt awkward? The right seat for the task at hand helps you get into flow faster, which is why Nhà An divides each branch into four zones, so you can match the right place to the right work.

Start with one question: what do you need today

Before you pick a table, quickly answer four questions. Are you alone or with others? Does today's task call for silence or conversation? Do you need a screen, a whiteboard, or just an outlet and a desk lamp? About how long will you stay? Your answers will show which zone to head for, and whether you should book ahead or simply walk in.

The four zones at each Nhà An branch, planned for when it opens, are the Deadline Room, the Smooth-Flow Meeting Room, the Nhà An Cozy Corner and the Chatter Courtyard. Each has its own personality, and your only job is to pair the right task with the right zone.

Deadline Room: for deep focus

This is the quiet zone for work that needs unbroken thinking, such as writing reports, coding, designing, studying for exams or working on a thesis. Desks have dividers to keep movement around you from distracting you, and every spot comes with its own desk lamp, outlet and charging port, plus a dedicated Wi-Fi network for this zone. Quiet hours are enforced here, so what you hear is mostly the clicking of keys.

Choose this zone when you are working alone, need to sit for a few hours straight and do not want to talk to anyone. If you have to make calls, join online meetings or discuss things with colleagues, move to another zone so you do not disturb the people next to you.

Smooth-Flow Meeting Room: meetings, interviews, presentations

A glass-walled room for 6 to 10 people, with an HDMI-connected screen and a whiteboard, booked by the hour. The separate space lets you talk freely without worrying about noise reaching the quiet zone next door, and nobody can overhear what your meeting is about.

The meeting room suits anything that needs privacy and presentation tools. Think project team meetings, candidate interviews, client conversations, presentation rehearsals, or group study sessions where you need to sketch a diagram on the board. Since it is booked by the hour, reserve ahead, especially during weekend peaks and exam season.

Nhà An Cozy Corner: reading, writing and relaxed catch-ups

This corner has a sofa, warm lighting, bookshelves and light blankets, and feels more like home than an office. It is not the place for an intense work session. It suits unhurried tasks such as reading, journaling, sketching ideas, outlining an article or chatting quietly with a friend.

Drop by when you want to start something but are not sure where to begin, or when you need a break between two demanding stretches of work. If you tend to get sleepy on a sofa and have an urgent task, you may do better at a desk with a straighter chair back.

Chatter Courtyard: group study and get-togethers

The Chatter Courtyard has long tables for 8 to 12 people, free board games and an airy, leafy yard. Laughter and lively discussion are perfectly normal here, because this zone was made for meeting up. It also hosts small parties of up to 30 guests, booked at least 2 days in advance.

It works well for group study that calls for loud brainstorming, friends who have not seen each other in a while, small birthday gatherings, club meetups and team sessions that need a lot of people. On the other hand, do not sit here if you need quiet to get work done, since that is exactly why the Deadline Room exists.

Real situations: which zone to choose

Here are some familiar situations for a quick match. If your task falls between two zones, go with whichever matters more: if you need quiet, pick the Deadline Room; if you need to talk, pick the Smooth-Flow Meeting Room or the Chatter Courtyard.

  • Working on a big assignment or a report due today: Deadline Room.
  • Studying alone before an exam: Deadline Room, with breaks at the Cozy Corner.
  • Meeting a client or interviewing a candidate: Smooth-Flow Meeting Room.
  • A team of four rehearsing a presentation before the deadline: Smooth-Flow Meeting Room.
  • Reading, writing or brainstorming ideas: Nhà An Cozy Corner.
  • Phone calls or online meetings: Smooth-Flow Meeting Room, so you do not disturb the quiet zone.
  • Catching up with an old friend, no rush: Cozy Corner for a small group, Chatter Courtyard for four people or more.
  • Big group study with lively discussion: Chatter Courtyard.
  • Small birthday party or class reunion: Chatter Courtyard, booked at least 2 days ahead.

Mixing zones in one day

Nhà An is planned to be open 24/7 with staff on duty around the clock, so closing time never limits you. One working day can take you through several zones: focus in the Deadline Room in the morning, a break in the Cozy Corner after a vegetarian lunch, a team meeting in the Smooth-Flow Meeting Room in the afternoon, and friends in the Chatter Courtyard in the evening. When you move, just bring your laptop and your drink. Your order can still be placed by scanning the code at your new table. Finish a task, change seats, and your mind gets refreshed between stretches too.
