Ceramic Tea Table, a pot of tea to photograph and to sip
A wooden tabletop, a Bat Trang ceramic teapot, a wisp of steam still drifting up. Order a pot of tea, set it out on the table and take one photo from above. All you need is your phone and a little care.

The idea
Ceramic teapot, wooden table, and a slow moment
The Ceramic Tea Table is one of six photo corners at Nhà An. It has a wooden table, a Bat Trang ceramic teapot and small cups, made for the overhead styled shots many young people call flat-lays.
Using it is simple: order a pot of tea, set it out on the table, take a few shots, then sip it slowly while it's still hot. You get a lovely photo to keep and a pot of tea to enjoy, with both done right.
Shooting at this corner is free for Nhà An guests. The exact spot at each branch will be announced when we open.
- Bat Trang ceramic teapot, wooden table, soft light
- Great for flat-lays, portraits holding a teacup, or shots of a hand pouring tea
- Your phone is enough, no special gear needed

Quick tips
Best time, camera angle, outfit and props
A great flat-lay comes down to light and composition more than an expensive camera.
Best times
Mornings and early afternoons, when the light from the window is soft. Natural light makes the glaze and the color of the tea look gentle and true to life.
Camera angle
Hold your phone straight above the table, parallel to the surface. Leave a little empty space around the teapot so the photo feels airy, not crowded.
Outfit
Plain sleeves in cream, moss green or white match the tones of the ceramic and the wood. If you have an áo dài with wide sleeves, a hand pouring tea looks especially graceful.
Props
A small notebook, a cloth napkin or a little flower is plenty. Add only a few so the teapot stays the star.
Rising steam
Steam curling up from a hot teapot gives the photo life. Shoot right after you pour, while the steam is still clear.
How to shoot
Five steps to a flat-lay photo
Follow this order and you'll get a lovely photo and still drink your tea while it's warm.
Order a pot of tea
Pick the tea you like and tell the staff you'd like it by the pot. Wood-fired roasted oolong, green tea or lotus tea all look beautiful in a ceramic cup.
Pick a bright spot
Sit near a window or somewhere with soft light. Keep the shadow of your hand or phone off the teapot.
Arrange the scene
Place the teapot off to one side and the cups on the other, then add a small item like a notebook or a plate of sweets. Three focal points is just right.
Shoot from above
Hold your phone parallel to the table, tap the teapot to focus and take a few shots. Try one more with a hand pouring the tea.
Pour, sip, enjoy
Once you're done, enjoy your tea right away, because it tastes best warm. Nhà An is open 24/7, so take your time beside your own pot of tea.
Etiquette
Gentle hands, take turns at the spot
Ceramics are fragile, and many people want a photo at this corner.
Please do
- Hold the teapot by its handle and watch the steam as you pour
- Keep your shoot to a few minutes, then make room for the next guest
- Call a staff member if you need more tea or want the table cleared
Please avoid
- Taking the teapot and cups to another area on your own
- Setting a hot teapot near the edge of the table or on a slippery surface
- Staying put for a long time when another group is waiting
